Important Information: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

We’re currently experiencing incredibly challenging times in the restaurant industry. The ongoing crisis is having a significant impact on our restaurants and cafes.

Last night, the Prime Minister announced that restaurants and cafes will be restricted to take-away only as of 12pm Monday 23 March 2020.

Following this advice, we will be:

*Turning off bookings at Australian restaurants on our platform until further notice

*Cancelling all current reservations from today until 30th April, all diners will be informed if their booking has been cancelled.

*Mobilising our local Support Teams to help you with any booking enquiries. We can be contacted from 8AM to 6PM from Monday to Friday and Saturdays from 10AM to 6PM on +61 1300 337 761 or via email at support@thefork.com.a

If you need to cancel an upcoming booking, you can easily do this via TheFork app under ‘My Bookings’ or on your confirmation email.

Many local restaurants and cafes are now offering takeaway services. From today, we’ve added a new search function so you can easily find and call them directly from TheFork.

Users can look for restaurants offering pick up or delivery via our app and website. Once you select the restaurant you want to order from, you can contact them by clicking on the “call” button displayed on the restaurant page. The restaurant will manage your food order and pick-up or delivery details.

We’re offering this service free of charge to restaurants to support them in this difficult time.
